Blake did not know where she was supposed to be meeting Alex to go to this Masquerade Ball, so after Ginevra and her were ready so they could go down to the ball together. Blake was so glad that everything had worked out for the two girls, that they both had dates, and their dates were the people they wanted to be with. "Where should we meet them?" Blake asked Ginevra. She had not been nervous at all, until now. They were walking through the front hall of Preston, and Blake had a sudden brain fart and couldn't even remember where the ball was going on. "Did we even pick a spot to be meeting them at?" she asked, wondering if Ginevra had maybe made plans.
Blake was feeling rather overdressed, in a black dress that came down to her knees, black flats and a white mask that contrasted well with her all black appearance. "I hate not wearing Converse," Blake said, faking a miserable sounding voice as she made a minor last minute adjustment on her mask. "What time are we allowed to take these off?" Blake asked Ginevra. Her mask was kind of bothering her, but she felt cool, like Batman and Superman, the way it was on her face. "What time is it?" she asked. Blake had a lot of questions, as she was majorly nervous, with a lot of energy to boot.

Ginevra was grinning at Blake as they walked forward to meet there dates in an unknown spot. She was nervous but not as nervous as Blake seemed to be. Ginevra was dressed in a black and pink dress, black flats and a black mask. Her hair was hanging down like always, laying on her shoulders and she was holding in a laugh as they walked on. "Midnight is when we can take them off, I think. she told Blake answering that question before she was bomed with ten more. She was listening to the questions but only halfly. She was also looking around for Mark.

"Do you know where we're meeting them?" Blake asked again. She was nervous. "Do we have to dance with someone that didn't ask us, or is that an option? I feel really cool right now, like Batman and Cinderella at the same time. You didn't answer half of my questions - what time is it? Where are they? Are they supposed to be here yet?" Blake couldn't help but ask millions of question. Suddenly she sneezed, but luckily it did not echo through the whole hall. "Why did I just sneeze so quietly? How come you sneeze loudly, and how come sometimes weird, disgusting goo comes out of your nose?" Blake suddenly put on the look of a mad man. "NO! NO MORE TALKING!" she yelled at herself. "I'm done now," she said, smiling sweetly at Ginevra, who was probably annoyed at her already from all her questions.

Ginevra was laughing more then ever at Blake, she didn't know she was capable of talking this much when she got nervous. She really hoped they would find Alex and Mark soon or she didn't know how much more nervous Blake would get and how much more questions she would have to attempt to answer. "I'm not answering your questions as I can't keep track of them." she told Blake truthfully, grinning at the fact. Her laughter was now slowing down and the nerves were starting to build up too.

Alex was casually walking down the hall his phone in his hand flipping through it all. He stopped and got a drink. The beak got in the way so he had to take it off to get the drink of water. "Nah I'll wait till I get there." He stood there in a simple Black tux that fitted perfectly and a stripped black and white tie. He started kicking the dress shoes. "I HATE YOU STUPID DRESS SHOES!" He yelled and kicked the wall. "Ow ow ow ow ow." He said jumping holding his foot. He stretched out his leg and wiggled his foot. "Toes are in place." He said nodding and pulled out his Helio. "Better call them quickly." He said and stood like he was on his skateboard not moving. "Wait.... Crap!" He muttered under his breath. He walked down the hallway dialing Blake's number. "Come on come on." He said and turned a corner. "Oh ya guys." He said laughing and putting the phone away. He walked over to the two girls. "Well two things. I cant get a drink with a beak mask and I hate these shoes." He said randomally kicking his foot.

[you can be yes, Dae.]
Ginevra saw Alex come around the corner first and she hit Blake's arm to give her some notification. She had a huge grin on her face as she was laughing at Alex's beak. She had been with him when he bought it and she still thought it looked hilarious. "Hey there." she spoke up firstup incase Blake let her nerves get the better of her and didn't talk at all or just talked to much. She then looked between the two people and stepped back so that she was out of there way and looked around once more for Mark.

Blake jumped when Ginevra hit her in the arm. Turning around, her heart began beating about a thousand times a minute. She stood, almost 'star-struck' for a few seconds while she stared at Alex, then started laughing extremely hard at his beak mask. "Oh that is priceless!" she said, hardly even hearing his complaint about not being able to drink and his shoes. Her nerves were still there, but Alex's mask helped calm them, as if it were some sort of helpful reminder that they were also friends, and that she was not about to make things uncomfortable between them. Suddenly, Ginevra backed away from them, so automatically Blake looked around, thinking that someone was around. She ignored it once she noticed no one else was around, and figured that she had just spotted Mark or something. "That's an amazing mask!" Blake said as a greeting to him, and grinning his way. "But I offer no suggestions to your problems!" she added.

Think casual Mark reminded himself for the fifty millionth as stood looking at himself in the reflection of a poster someone had laminated then hung on the wall in the hall. It had to do with something about some kid’s dog walking/ lawn service but that was far from his mind as he adjusted the ash colored mask that he had found in some tacky second hand shop. It covered half his face, from the lip up, with a silk that had long lost its sheen but now held a musty mysterious look. ‘Simple yet charming’ the lady had said behind the counter before drinking something out of a flask. His suit had been hurriedly ironed and still had a few wrinkles in it and matched horridly with his navy blue converses, there was no way in the name of anything good anyone could get him to wear a dress shoe, and who would care? Surely Ginevra wouldn’t, or at least he hoped she wouldn’t.
One more glance into the poster left him with the impression he was trying to hard to impress someone so perfect that he might as well as just turn around and leave. But I couldn’t do that to her, he thought sighing heavily and mentally dragging himself into the ballroom. A quick glance was shot around the room before he sighed again, not finding Ginevra, and made his way to the punch bowl. Im not looking hard enough, he scolded before staring into the cup that he hoped would carry his nerves away.

"So should we go inside and see if Mark is waiting inside or something?" Blake asked Ginevra, who appeared to still be standing further away from them. "That way you could actually stand with us for a little while!" she joked.
As she walked into the ballroom, not waiting to see if they had followed, she realized that she had just made the dumbest mistake ever. "They - they - they're all wearing masks! Dammit!" she said. "How are we going to pick Mark out from all of them?"

Ginevra was looking around the room already when she had walked in and she laughed when Blake made the comment 'they're all wearing masks.' It was so obvious that she wasn't suprised Blake was the one who had said it, expecially outloud. Grinning she turned to the other two before moving on. "I'll look for him, you two go dance!" she encouraged with a minor smile as she turned around, her dress waving with her. She felt so weird in a dress and flats but she thought it was at least one thing she could do since it was a ball. She hoped her memory of him asking her wasn't just some daydream she had had and that he wasn't really even going to show up.
She knew right then and there, she'd be disappointed but she'd hide the embarrasment well. She was good at those type of things, well around everyone except Mark it seemed. Scooping the large, crowded hall she glided forward glad she hadn't decided to where heels as she seemed ready to trip in her flats any moment. At first, she thought she saw someone who might be him but when she got closer the guy was nothing up to Mark's level of prefection. Sighing, she decided to take a brake by getting some punch. Getting a glass she looked up at the person next to her and her eyes widened. It had been so obvious that she'd missed him. "Hey." she said, for once actually shy as she knew for sure this was Mark. Wondering why he was looking into his cup, she just waited for a reply, not wanting to ask.

Slowly he moved his hand in a circular motion, watching the liquid slowly crawl up the side of the cup as it was swirled around, amusing the overly nervous male who held it. The stupid action he was doing help calm a few of his nerves that were jumping around in the pit of his stomach. The familiar voice of Ginevra made him turn around a quickly replace the nervous frown on his face with that of a smile. “Hey to you to,” he replied tossing the half full cup into the near by trashcan. Everything about just made him want to scream to the world he was with the most beautiful girl in the world and no one could dampen his spirits. Coughing softly to clear his throat of extra saliva he managed to squeak, “You look amazing,” then managed to flush a bright red that contrasted greatly with his mask.

Ginevra watched as the cup went flying across to the garbage and actually made it in. She smiled as it didn't seem like an easy am from where he was standing. "Nice chuck,"[/] she commented hoping that she didn't sound to guy-like after she finished. Getting a complament from Mark made her blush when usually she'd just say thanks without blushing at all to anyone else, looking up at him she was still smiling. "As do you.?" she told him truthfully as she looked at what he was wearing. Her eyes stopped on the converses and she laughed, "Expecially those." she added, grinning at the fact that he had worn them. She didn't care in the least bit, she actually thought it was better as he didnt' look to 'done up' for the ball. It made him easier to spot from a distance.

Blake watched Ginevra as she walked away, leaving her and Alex alone together with the comment, "you two go dance!" She did know the song, not that she liked it all too much, but it was fast. She looked around, sort of embarrassed. She was nervous, she was here with Alex, and she knew she was probably making things uncomfortable. Scratching her ear, something she did when she was nervous, she said, "what a crappy song." She smiled, but someone hurrying in to the room bushed past her, so she turned quickly to see what was going on. Tripping on her own flats-clad foot, she fell to the ground. From the ground, she sat and laughed. "This mask is like a blinder for horses!" she laughed, not bothering to get up yet. She was glad her dress had not flown up, but it wouldn't have mattered as she was wearing shorts underneath - in case something like this happened.

"I could only imagine." He said laughing. He reached his hand down for Blake to grab. At the time a few things were flipping through his head. He tried pushing them aside in his head but they kept coming back. When Blake was up he started scratching his arm. "This thing is to itchy!" He said scratching his arm. He slipped off the tuxedo jacket. Underneath it he was wearing the striped tie and a black long sleeved button up shirt. "Couldn't resist. Went to.... Ya it was a few bits of Warp Tour with this thing. I couldn't ignore wearing it. The only button up shirt I have." He said grinning scratching the back of his head. He walked over to a single coat rack and slipped the jacket on it, and slipped the beak mask on. "Don't get to embarrassed." He said walking back towards Blake laughing.

Blake laughed off her embarrassing nervousness. Suddenly again, she felt comfortable, as if they were just friends again. She was amazed that she had even let herself get far enough into a hole-like state that she would actually feel awkward around him.
"Oh my gosh, that's so cool! You went to Warped Tour? Who was there? When did you go?" This was by far one of the coolest tours that she had ever heard of. That and Reading Festival in England. She couldn't wait to hear details about it, as she had never gone to a Warped Tour before, although that was always one of her dreams. "No embarrassment!" she added.
