Loud trumpeting complete with the energetic neighs of horses and hollers of knights, calling for their squires to hand them their lances.
The sun glints off the highly polished armor as two horses, mounted by knights of the highest honor, charge toward one another, ears pinned and hoofs flying. A clash of wood on iron rings through the air and the crowd cheers wildly while a squire looks disappointedly at the fallen man as he runs after the loose charger.
Tournament of the Kings is the annual competition of men who love to strut their selves around amongst others, displaying their brave hearted actions and skills on horseback and with a sword.
Knights from far and wide come to battle for the title of best of the best and the purse winnings from the main sponsors of events, the O'Conner Family and the Crofting Family. Many are hurt and some even killed but many love the thrill and give themselves to the beatings they may receive. But sometimes a twist is thrown in, the Lord Alexander joins in on the fun, stirring nerves with fear of hurting the vibrant young Lord of their Lands.
And what path with you choose? The journey of a knight of his squire? Maybe the distressed lady watching her lover get smashed and bashed or the Lord laughing at his table and betting on the winners.
