Mark smiled softly and walked alongside Ginervra, arms linked and him enjoying the moment. Basically every girl he had met had either been a total dweeb or snot nosed brat with too much money for her own good. The lake’s water lapped at the shore with rhythmic patterns that fascinated him. Of course he knew all about the whole theory of the moon’s magnetic pull on the earth, but even with all the scientific blab he found it enchanting to watch. Pretending he didn’t know what caused the waves.
Sighing softly, Mark released his arm from her and walked closer toward the water’s edge, to where the water lapped at the tips of his sneakers. “The water makes me want to just jump in and swim forever” he murmured In a low tone.

Ginevra looked in Mark's direction, her eyes glowing with excitment. "What are you waiting for then, i'll come with you if ya want." she told him, smiling not caring in the least bit she was fully clothed. The water was touching her sneakers and she feared that after, if they got to wet, she'd make a clutz out of herself and embarass herself in front of Mark. It would be something typical that would happen. "Only if you want me to though" she added looking down out into the space of the rippling waves of the water, blushing.

"Are you serious?" He questioned aghaust for the comment of his before was sarcastic, but when she asked if he wanted her to join him Mark grinned wodely and stipped of his shoes, socks and coat. He flipped off his shirt and jumped into the water. The water was surprisingly chilly and it caused him to frown slightly, he quickly turned it into another grin before looking at her gaily. "Well come on" he said happily, meaning for her to join him in the water.

Ginevra smiled as she shrugged off her jacket, shoes and sweater. She had a feeling by Mark's first facial expression when he got in that it was going to be cold but she didn't care as she jumped right in. She shivered but smiled as she looked back up her hair half stuck to the side of her face. She brushed it so it was half normal looking and floated there, happily. "Of course I was serious." she replied finally with a grin.

Savanna kicked off her flip flops and slid off her Green cami. She had come to the lake to get some fresh air. Megan hadnt been in the dorm room so she got bored and lonely. Savanna walked up the the end of the dock and sat down. I'll just dip my feet its too cold of a night to swim she thought to herself. She thought about life back in orange county and spaced out for awhile.

Mark laughed and playfully rolled his eyes on her answer of her being really serious. He shot her a lopsided grin, before mischeviously side glancing at her. He nonchalantly turned and began whistling a looney tone then out of no where he turned and splashed Ginerva. He laughed whickedly before diving into deeper water and began to swim as hard as he could away from her.

Ginevra laughed as water came for her after Mark splashed it. Once all the water was out of her face she could see he was swimming away. She grinned and dived in also, heading towards him. She was a pretty fast swimmer but by the looks of it, Mark was faster. She was having fun with this 'some-what' stranger. She was glad he didn't annoy her and she actually did consider him a friend now. She hoped he thought the same back, if not, she'd live.

The water was no longer cold as Mark’s pulse began to push the blood through his vein more quickly than it was when he first dived into the lake’s water. With each stroke, he put himself that much farther from Ginevra, who now was paddling after him. She was a quick swimmer, and was nearly caught up to him when he flipped around from a butterfly stroke to a back stroke. A new distance was gained, from the change in arm pattern. Slowing slightly, he waited for her to catch up slightly before drifting backward a few feet, staying just out of arms reach.
He enjoyed his new found companion’s company, for she was the first not to revolt against his big dog personality of loving everyone he basically met. He found her just as entertaining as his video games he lost himself in, when suffering from severe boredom.

Ginevra caught up, finally and didn't splash him, yet. She would save that for when he wasn't expecting it. It made it harder to swin with the fact that she was wearing jeans in the water. Not to smart as they weighed her down a little more than a bathing suit would; she wasn't in the mood to care about that, though, she was having fun here with Mark. Her head was tilited to one side and she was curious to why he wasn't annoyed by her personality that some people, at times, described as 'out there'. She then noticed she hadn't done anything to weird while around him and for once she was glad about that as she liked him for he seemed to be someone she had never come across before, he was different, interesting to her.

Savanna sat dipping her feet quietly watching Ginevra with a guy she had never met before. they're cute she thought I wonder if they're more than friends. she couldnt really tell for sure, but by the looks of it she thought there could be something more. She watched them as enertainment from afar hoping she didnt seem like a stalker if they looked in her direction. She watched as Ginevra tried to catch the strange boy she was fast, but not quite fast enough. She finally lost most interest and faced the lake ahead of her amazed at all the mansions on the border of the other side.

The ever so common grin displayed its self across Mark’s lips, once Ginevra had caught up to him after their pulse quickening swim. He was curious at why she was looking at him with her head tilted in such a way it reminded him of his childhood dog, who would give him the same stare when she wanted to romp around the yard or something to that matter. Mimicking her, he tilted his head to the side and softened his grin to a thoughtful smile before sighing. Brow raised slightly as he debated whether or not to ask why she was looking at him in such a fashion or just gaze back in the same lopsided way. “Can I help you?” he finally asked with a widening smile. He felt the gaze of another, but ignored it waiting for her answer of his nonchalant question.
His now soaked shirt, clung tightly to torso, restricting some movement of his arms and shoulders, but it didn’t bother him much, for he was always used to swimming in his regular clothes for back in London their was always the common dare amongst friends to jump into the stream behind their houses and swim, full dressed. How ever his jeans were beginning to bug him, for they kept limiting the motion of his kick, making it rather difficult to move at moments.

Savanna awoke from her precious daydream and returned back to the real world. She loved to just sit and imagine a whole new life for herself. She hated her life now. She hoped something would happen and profoundly change her life in a positive way. She dipped her feet awhile longer gazing up at the stars. Its getting cold she thought to herself. She glanced at her arms now filled with tiny goosebumps, she rubbed her arms in pointless effort to keep warm .A few seconds later she gave up. maybe a nice walk will help she told herself as she boosted herself up off the dock.

Ginevra didn't notice, at first, that Mark was even talking to her. She was talking in his expression, like how his grin spread across his face so often, how is eyebrow lifted when she wasn't looking away, she blushed as she pulled her eyes off of him to look down at the water. "Sorry, just thinking." she replied to his question embarrassed. She had just totally zoned out looking in his direction. She must have looked like a total creep, in a way. When looking at him she noticed that his clothes were just as wet and it was another reason she had to look away. The way his shirt clung to his body, she exhaled heavily and hoped he didn't notice that. She was probably acting quite weird from anothers view.

Something about the way Ginevra stared at Mark made him want to sneeze, which was always the very unusual way of his hormones telling his puny little brain that maybe this girl was worth his time. Of course she was worth his time, for she was one of the few who hasn’t been spooked off by his personality or nature of asking dumb questions. He sighed softly and nodded to her reply. Her ‘just thinking’ expression made him want to leap off a cliff, if she asked that is.
Mark had a tendency to always do what a girl asked, whether it be dance like a ballerina in a public area or do her homework for little to no pay. He was always happy to do so. Sighing softly he turned his gaze toward the shore then back to Ginevra. He caught he tail end of her gaze on his chest, which made him smile softly. Ignoring the comment that came to mind, he looked away and sneezed. Sneezing made him loose the rhythm of swimming in one spot, which made him momentarily sink under water, resulting in a lung full of it. He came back up sputtering like a half drowned cat before he began to laugh at himself. “Race you back”

Ginevra couldn't help but laugh at how he seemed to be sneezing alot. She didn't know why, maybe he was allergic to something. She then heard him speak the words 'race you back' and she grinned. This time she was probably going to have the advantage if he kept sneezing every so often, it would slow him down. She nodded as to say 'yes' and then started swimming towards the shore. They had gone quite a ways and she hadn't noticed that before but it was fine as she liked to swim and the water didn't seem to cold.
As she swam her thoughts were all over the place. This happened often but at times she would zone out and not pay attention to others things around her. She was focused now, as she didn't want to drown, and she looked behind her to get a glance of Mark, who she had a feeling was swimming right behind her or had passed and she just hadn't noticed.
