Mark smiled, then sneezed again before he lunged after her, swimming his hardest to catch up. I must be catching a cold, he thought trying not to sneeze as he swam. He managed to get himself within a few feet of Ginevra. Rhythmic movement of his arms propelled him through the water to match her speed, for his legs were restricted in movement by his jeans. As the shore neared the swimming duo, and he pushed harder, putting on a small blast of speed to where he barely had a lead on her. Once he felt sand underneath him he stood and raced onto dry land to shore he collapsed, gasping from air and laughing from the enjoyment of the situation.

Ginevra was already standing, her feet in the sand as she saw Mark get out of the lake laughing while gasping. She went over to where he was and bent down on her knees to be more level with him. "To much for you?" she teased, a huge grin on her face. Her breathing wasn 't even either, but it was close to it. She was the type who came outside often and just sat and watched the sun go down or took a swim. She didn't mind doing it alone but it was funner with company. She looked down at Mark again, her clothes dripping wet, holding back a shiver as the wind blew by and her hair went in her face. She shock it off, annoyed as it was quite damp.

Mark began to laugh harder at her question and in between gasps he managed to nod and rasp out “I haven’t been this active in ages.” His words were sadly true, since his parents divorce he had become less active with each month and found enjoyment in just sitting on his but in front of a glowing TV screen. Video games and soap operas had become his main source of entertainment. Thank god for fast metabolisms or he would more than likely be in the shape of a docile farm pig.
Sighing softly once he had caught his breath he sat up and gazed up at Ginevra. “well that was fun” he laughed standing up and attempting to brush the sand from his soggy jeans. The wind was now bitterly cold as he walked toward where he dumped his shoes and jacket.

Ginevra was doing the same as she listened to him speak. Brushing off the sand that was now all over her and waiting for words to come to her mind that she could say back. Finally, she thought of some and opened her mouth to speak, "Yes, that was fun." she told him with a nod as she stood up and laid down on the nearby grass. She then saw how much he was breathing unevenly and sighed, "You should come out here more. Get exersize." she told him, not trying to offend him. "I'd come with you, if you wanted company." she added hiding her blush.

Slipping his shoes and socks back onto his feet, Mark sighed softly then sneezed. Itching his nose with the end of his soppy shirt he turned to stare playfully aghast at Ginevra. “Me? Get more exercise? Ha I all set for the rest of the year.” After staring long and hard at her he burst into soft laughter before nodding. “I would love for you to accompany me on another swim or something of exercising variety.”
A slight grin displayed across his lips as he stood and rung our the end of his shirt before placing his jacket over his shoulders like a cape and let his gaze wander out to the horizon.

Ginevra blushed slightly when he said he wouldn't mind her company right after she laughed when he spoke about that being enough exercise for one full year; she held back the urge to roll her eyes and comment on that. She then followed his gaze out into the horizon. It was now the time where people could watch the sunset, she really love sunset and sunrise, they were quite beautiful in her opinion. "Don't you love it?" she asked absentmindedly as she started ahead, also.

As the sun filled the once blue sky with vibrant colors of red and oranges with tints of pinks and purples, he sighed softly and plopped his soggy self back onto the ground where he leaned back on an elbow to watch the sun descend to its nightly home. The colors reflected beautifully against the water, dying the crystal blue to match the sky. “It really is a sight to behold” he murmered, glancing over at Ginevra then blushing slightly as the thought ‘Just like you’ sprung into his mind. His gaze was quickly turned away from her as he returned it to the sunset.

Ginevra hadn't noticed the glance from Mark as she was staring ahead, determind to keep her blush unnoticed. It seemed to be working but her veiw wasn't actually the sunset. She may have looked like she was looking out into the horizon but she was really just looking up at it, seeing different pictures in her head, thoughts of possible things as she did so. "Definitley." she agreed with Mark as he spoke. They hadn't done much but it was definitly one of the best nights she'd had in a very long time. Back home, nothing like this had ever happened. She had never felt like this before. It was a weird feeling, she didn't really notice what it really was.

A soft sigh escaped his lips as he let his gaze wander form the colors of the setting sun to the water's edge to his very own feet. He was to lost in thought, sorting his feelings for Ginevra and everythign else that came to mind. He felt giddy for meeting her but also something else, a nagging thought that kept reminding him of something his father had told him years ago that he couldn't quit remember. The night sky was begining to dominate the blending colors of the sunset with its inky black that glittered occasionally with a star or two. "It's getting late" he murmered softly turing to face his new found friend.

As Ginevra nodded without knowing she did, her thought almost overpowering her, she pulled herself back into the real word. Nothing in her little fanasy of confusion could actually happen, right? She sighed as she turned and smiled over at Mark. She almost said one of her thought outloud and blushed to herself, 'I don't want to leave if i'm with you' was passing through her head several times. She bit her tounge so she wouldn't say it as she layed down on the grass. It was eleven o'clock and the stars were now starting to come out overhead.

The ground beneath Mark was warm against his chilled body from the swim in the lake with Ginevra. The stars over head shown with a heavenly glow that was spell binding as he looked up and began to foolishly count the glittering sparks. After a few moments he had to blink several times, for he kept seeing Ginevra’s face. Why? He asked himself with a slight frown before forcing the silly school boy thoughts far form his mind. A thin mist of a cloud shifted over the stars he was numbering causing him to loose count and swear softly under his breath before laughing at his own stupidity.
“How many stars do you think there is in the sky?” He asked turning his gaze toward his female companion that some how and in some strange way made his heart thump around his chest loudly. One part of him wanted to lay and watch the stars with her all night and eternity but again the nagging thought of some past reminder kept his feelings at bay.

Ginevra listened to the question and thought about it as she laid back on the grass beside him. "Too many to count." she replied, though she was curious. How many beautiful little rays could be shining down on them? She couldn't help but grin when she heard a little faint sound that was Mark's heart going faster, it caused her to blush for no particular reason that she was aware of. She wanted to stay here and never leave the spot if Mark would be there with her.

"To many you say? Ha, I'll show you" He laughed then began to count aloud before once again laughing at himself. Of course he knew it was basically impossible to count the stars, but what the heck, why not try? Sighing softly again, he ran the back of his hand under his nose, stopping a sneeze from cursing through his body but making him instead snort. God I hate sneezing he mumbled, turning his gaze momentarily towards Ginevra.

Ginevra could see at the way his nose was wrinkling that he was going to sneeze soon. She backed away an inch, teasing him and smiled. "Don't sneeze on me." she said grinning. She had also just stopped laughing when he started to count the stars. She had to say it was a pretty smart ass remark but she found it funny, even if he hadn't mean't it to be that way. She was enjoying the night outside with him. As she shooted back over to where she was, she was being sneaky and she slid closer to him than she had been before but not to much. She then returned the gaze.

“Aw but that would ruin my fun” he teased with an ever so present grin, responding to her remark on not sneezing on her. Mark chuckled softly as she scooted away from him, then back to her beginning spot. Sighing softly, he let his gaze wander from Ginevra’s face to the scenery above him. He had to turn his face away from her to hid the blush he felt spreading across his cheeks and the overly giddy feeling he got from just her laugh. Rolling onto his side, he put on his most seriously playfully glare, and stared at her before cracking a slight smile and joking. “I’m waiting for the perfect to sneeze on you…”
